2. Microphone Permission & Voice Data Handling

Our application requires access to your device microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) and network connectivity to provide core real-time speech translation and AI call translation services.

How We Handle Voice and Audio:

• Ephemeral Processing: When you initiate a live speech translation or voice call session, your audio frames are streamed via secure WebSockets / WebRTC to our translation pipeline.
• No Permanent Audio Storage: Audio chunks are processed in real-time memory buffer and are automatically discarded once translation synthesis is completed. We do NOT record, archive, or sell your live conversations.
• Explicit Permission: Microphone access is only activated when you tap the microphone button or join a translation call session. You can revoke microphone access at any time via Android System Settings > Apps > Ai Call Translator > Permissions.

To generate accurate real-time speech recognition, natural language translation, and voice synthesis, our application interfaces securely with industry-standard AI engines, including Google Gemini API.

• Data Transferred: Only text transcripts or short audio segments required to execute your specific translation request are sent to the AI model.
• Confidentiality: AI data transmission occurs strictly over encrypted HTTPS/TLS 1.3 channels.
• Model Training: Your private real-time translation calls and transcripts are not used to train public machine learning models without your explicit opt-in consent.

We partner with reliable third-party infrastructure providers to operate the application in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies:

• Voice Streams: Ephemeral (0 days). Deleted immediately upon real-time processing.
• Translation History: Stored under your profile until you delete individual records, clear your history within the app settings, or request account deletion.
• Account Data: Retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated records are permanently erased within 30 days.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion Mechanism

In accordance with Google Play Store data safety requirements, GDPR, and CCPA, you have full control over your personal data:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: Edit your display name or profile details directly inside the app settings.
• Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): You can permanently delete your account, profile, and all translation history.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Our application is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from minors.
